The Long Island Latino International Film Festival was built to celebrate and showcase the finest in Latino filmmaking. Now celebrating our 5th year anniversary LILIFF continues to build a reputation for excellence in programming by presenting exceptional works by or about Latinos.
Our intimate venue at the Charles B. Wang Center on the campus of Stony Brook University is the perfect destination for film goers, industry or just the intellectually curious to come together and experience independent storytelling.
Our festival is open to both the United States and the International film community. LILIFF is committed to bringing compelling films with powerful storytelling to Long Island, which is home to over 350,000 Hispanics and growing.
LILIFF has created this 3 day event to focus and support the work of the artist. Participating filmmakers receive VIP all access passes to screenings, panel discussions, special events, after parties and are encouraged to participate in Q&A sessions following the screening of their film. Closing night festivities will conclude with our award ceremony honoring 7 categories including Best Narrative Feature and Best Director.
