The Long Island Latino International Film Festival was created to celebrate and showcase the finest in Latino filmmaking. Now in our 5th year LILIFF continues to build its reputation by presenting exceptional works by or about Latinos. Last year’s opening night films was a romantic dramedy short “” and the world premier of “”. Our closing night film was by Francisco Franco’s “”, for which Irene Azuela took home the best actress Golden Ariel at Mexico’s 2008 Ariel Awards.
